(Victorian) Solid Panel Shutters
Victorian solid panel window shutters were often used in homes and buildings during the late 19th century and were popular due to their durability and timeless design. They are still used today in many traditional and historic homes and can add a touch of classic elegance to any room.
We have two types of Solid Panel Shutters or Victorian-style shutters which they are also commonly called. There are the Solid Raised – available in our Fiji range – and the Shaker which is available in the Sumatra range also available with a stained finish.
The solid panel shutters we offer are a modern replacement for the original Victorian window shutters that were often made from Pine. They can not fold away into concealed boxes like the originals but will be fitted within their own framework and will fold back flat as long as there is enough space on each side of the window or if the window recess is deep enough to allow them.
The Solid Raised in Fiji are available in painted and stained finishes whilst our Shaker in Sumatra is only available in stained colours.
Nearly 20 Years Of Shutters
We are a family run company and have been supplying and installing high quality shutters for a little under 20 years now, in this time, we have narrowed our shutters down to a selection of what we think are the best on the market, but dont just take our word for it, read our great reviews on Checkatrade and Trust Pilot.
Solid Base Panel Shutters
Also available are our Solid Based shutters in Fiji that are solid raised on the lower part of the shutter but with a louvred top section. This style is ideal for part-glazed doors or even works as a room divider
PLEASE NOTE: The moulded-style solid shutters are currently unavailable.
